Elizabeth Olsen will end the MCU dry spell with the premiere of her new series, ‘WandaVision,’ on Jan. 15. See her through the years, leading up to this Disney+ project!
Long before she was a major Marvel star, Elizabeth Olsen was known as the little sister of the famous Olsen twins: Mary-Kate and Ashley. Of course, the 31-year-old actress now has an impressive reputation of her own. Elizabeth is one-half of the iconic Wanda Maximoff and Vision superhero duo from the Avengers film series who will be now leading their own TV show, WandaVision, which will premiere on Disney+ on Jan. 15.
Elizabeth got her start in acting by making cameos in multiple ’90s projects that starred her famous sisters: Our First Video, Olsen Twins Mother’s Day Special, The Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley and How the West Was Fun. She even appeared on a 1995 episode of their famous sitcom, Full House!
Elizabeth didn’t get her serious start in commercial acting, though, until years later as a young adult. She was 20 and 21 years old when two movies in which she played the leading role — Silent House and Martha Marcy May Marlene — came out in 2011. Martha Marcy May Marlene was a hit at the Sundance Film Festival, leading Elizabeth to be nominated for many critics awards (six of which she won).
This set a great precedent for the rest of Elizabeth’s film career, which took off right as her older sisters were retiring from the business (Ashley’s last movie appearance was in 2009’s The Jerk Theory, while Mary-Kate’s was in the 2011 film Beastly). Indeed, it’s like the twins passed on the acting baton as they moved on to the world of fashion design. During this time, Elizabeth was also studying at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she graduated from in 2013.
Elizabeth went on to co-star alongside How I Met Your Mother star Josh Radnor in the 2012 film Liberal Arts, and had a leading role alongside Dakota Fanning in the 2013 movie Very Good Girls. The younger Olsen entered a whole new realm of fame, however, when she made her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Wanda Maximoff (whose superhero alias is the Scarlet Witch) in a post-credits scene from the 2014 film, Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Elizabeth then made her official Marvel debut in Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015, and has reprised the role in multiple Marvel films: Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, and will do so again in 2022’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Amid all these Marvel movies, Elizabeth even starred in her own TV show called Sorry for Your Loss between 2018-2019.
And that leads us to Elizabeth’s most current project: WandaVision. Fans are eagerly anticipating this new show, which will be Marvel’s first live-action Disney+ series. Unlike the past MCU films Elizabeth and Paul Bettany (who plays Vision) have starred in, this project is quite different — for starters, their characters are essentially living in a sitcom reality. Elizabeth even revealed if this means the series will include a “wink” at Full House.
Outside of acting, Elizabeth became romantically linked to musician Robbie Arnett, 27, in March of 2017. They reportedly became engaged in July of 2019, and are still happily together. Elizabeth is all grown up! You can see more photos of the actress through the years in HollywoodLife‘s gallery above.
Drake & Michael B. Jordan Reunite At A Basketball Game After Grabbing Dinner Together
The best bromance in basketball is back on! Nearly a month after Drake and Michael B. Jordan hung out at a Lakers game, the two reunited to watch LeBron James’ son, Bronny, in action.
Are Drake and Michael B. Jordan going to be the new Bill Murray, in that you never know where they’re going to show up next? Weeks after Drake, 34, and Michael, 34, sat courtside at an NBA playoff game, the two were spotted taking in a Sierra Canyon Varsity basketball game on Thursday (June 17) in Chatsworth, California. The two weren’t just there because they had nothing to do – they were on hand to support Bronny James, the 16-year-old son of their mutual friend, LeBron James – as he and the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers took on the Etiwanda Eagles in a regional semi-final game.
Unfortunately, it was a valiant but unsuccessful effort. The Trailblazers lost, 82-76, bringing their season to a close. This wasn’t the first time that Drake took in a Sierra Canyon game. On June 11, the “God’s Plan” rapper, JR Smith, and Jared Dudley all showed up to watch LeBron’s son play, per TMZ. This was Bronny’s first game of the season after missing it with a torn meniscus. Apparently, Drake had so much fun, he decided to bring his basketball BFF, Michael B. Jordan, to Thursday’s game.
The world got its first glimpse of this bromance in May. First, Michael B. and Drake had dinner together on May 15. Then, a few days later, they reunited to watch LeBron, 36, and the Los Angeles Lakers take on the Golden State Warriors in a play-in game for the NBA Playoffs. The two sat courtside for the game and freaked out when LeBron nailed the game-winning 3-pointer, securing the Lakers a spot in the playoffs. Unfortunately for the Lakers Nation, the team’s run didn’t last long. The Phoenix Suns eliminated the Lakers, 4-2, in the first round. With LeBron gone, it seems that Drake and Michael B. moved on to rooting for the younger James (and not for the LA Clippers.)
Less than a week after the Black Panther star hung out with Drake, Michael B. and Lori Harvey were spotted holding hands as they left Drake’s Billboard Music Awards after-party. Drake was named the Artist of the Decade at the 2021 BBMAs and threw an elaborate bash to celebrate. When the party was winding down, Michael – dressed in a sleek black ensemble – and Lori, wearing a floral print top and animal print pants – made their way to the exit while clutching each other’s hands.

‘Jersey Shore’ Preview: Snooki Gets The Scoop On Angelina’s Marriage Drama After Returning
Snooki is back on the June 17 episode of ‘Jersey Shore,’ and The Situation has a lot to fill her in on — including what’s been going down with Angelina and her husband, Chris Larangeira!
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has a one-on-one chat with Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi in this EXCLUSIVE sneak peek at the June 17 episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. After Snooki surprised Mike at his five-year sober anniversary party, he pulls her aside to thank her for coming. “It’s unbelievable,” Mike gushes. “It’s such a surprise. It’s so good to see you back, it really is.” Of her decision to return to the show after taking a season off, Snooki says, “Same. I missed you. I think it was just me thinking of all the things I would miss — like the baby shower and meeting your child for the first time. I can’t miss those things.”
Then, Mike fills Nicole in on some things she’s missed over the last few months. “I think [Ronnie Ortiz-Magro] is coming across some big moments in his life,” Mike admits. “I think he might be getting engaged soon.” Ronnie recently introduced his girlfriend, Saffire Matos, on the show, but she has yet to meet all of the roommates. “Oh my God,” Nicole replies. “We have to approve!”
Of course, there’s also a lot going on with Angelina Pivarnick and her husband, Chris Larangeira, this season. “Angelina is in the middle of getting a divorce right now,” Mike reveals. “She said she filed in January, but she didn’t serve him yet.” The divorce news came just over one year after Angelina and Chris’s wedding, which was the event that caused Snooki to leave Jersey Shore in the first place. Angelina got pissed at the speech Snooki, JWoww and Deena Cortese made at her wedding, and major drama ensued.
“The speech drama was for nothing, damn it!” Snooki rants now. Mike adds, “She even said it! She said all the speech stuff was for nothing.” During the first half of this season, Mike and the rest of the guys were able to mend fences between Angelina and JWoww/Deena, but with Snooki not filming, she never cleared the air with Angelina. We’ll have to wait and see if the ladies get a chance to do that now that Snooki’s back part-time!
“Everybody’s my best friend, but Mike’s always texting me, like, ‘You good? You ready to come back? We got you,’” Snooki says in the preview. “I know I haven’t been here for awhile, but you have friends for your life and you don’t seem them for a while, and then you see them and it’s not awkward or weird because you feel like you know them. That’s our roomies. That’s us.” Jersey Shore: Family Vacation airs Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. on MTV.
