Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s relationship has been through so much. We’re breaking down the former couple’s romance in photos and more!
Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson have overcome a lot to get their relationship back on good terms. The two have been co-parenting their sweet two-year-old daughter, True Thompson, and putting any differences aside to be there for her. As fans continue to wonder whether or not Khloe and Tristan have a future together as a couple, let’s take a look back at how their relationship started and the major moments that fans simply can’t forget!
Getting Together In 2016
Photos of Khloe and Tristan together were first published in August 2016, when the former couple was seen leaving Bootsy Bellows in Hollywood. It was later revealed during an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians that Khloe and Tristan actually met through a mutual friend! “Brandon Jennings, who’s a basketball player, he’s a friend of mine and Malika [Haqq]‘s, and he was like, ‘You’re such a good girl, I want to introduce you to someone,’” Khloe said. “I was at the Bel-Air hotel. [Tristan] came to the dinner because I didn’t want to go on a blind date, so Brandon kind of ambushed the blind date. So, I had a bunch of people and he brought him and we just connected.”
Spending The 2016 Holidays Together
By the 2016 holidays, Khloe and Tristan were practically inseparable. The pair continued to gush about one another on social media as it appeared they were getting more and more serious. At this point, the two were even taking romantic getaways together and Tristan was seemingly becoming a part of the Kardashian family fold! As 2017 rolled along, the couple kept up their social media love fest and Khloe continued to support Tristan while he played for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Pretty soon, however, the duo would begin preparations for their family to grow!
Baby On The Way
By fall 2017, reports began to circulate that Khloe and Tristan were expecting their first child together. On December 20, 2017, Khloe and Tristan officially confirmed the news! “My greatest dream realized! We are having a baby,” Khloe captioned her Instagram post. Tristan seemed more in love with Khloe than ever before. “My love, thank you for [allowing] me to be a part of your journey in life and allowing to share this moment with you this is something and always cherish,” he comment on Khloe’s announcement photo . “Girl you look better now.”
Celebrating Tristan’s Birthday
By March 2018, Tristan and Khloe seemed like they were the strongest they had ever been. The couple celebrated Tristan’s 27th birthday with a huge blowout bash, and Khloe gushed about her love on social media. “How special is this thing called life that we share together?! I am so blessed to be creating beautiful monumental memories with such a wonderful man! I hope this year brings you all that you dream of! You will forever be my always! I love you baby,” Khloe wrote in her birthday tribute to Tristan. Of course, springtime was about to get even more exciting for the pair with the arrival of their baby girl!
True Thompson Is Born
On April 12, Khloe officially welcomed her and Tristan’s baby into the world! True Thompson came at a difficult time in the couple’s relationship, however. In the days leading up to Khloe’s delivery, Tristan was accused of cheating on Khloe with multiple women. Even Khloe’s family got involved and were there to support Khloe through an incredibly difficult time.
“Kris, Kim and the rest of the Kardashian family were cold as ice toward Tristan during the tense birth of his daughter with Khloe,” a source shared EXCLUSIVELY with HollywoodLife in April 2018. “Kim could not even look at the cheater after saying hello. Neither Kim nor Kourtney said much of anything to Tristan. The tension at the hospital and in the delivery room was high. It was not a comfortable place to be, especially when Tristan was present.”
By the 2018 holidays, it seemed as though Khloe and Tristan’s relationship was on the rocks. Although the two were still seemingly together, Khloe commemorated True’s first holiday season with mother-daughter photos on Instagram. However, the couple did reunite and even shared a kiss on New Year’s Eve to ring in a new year and a fresh start.
The Cheating Scandal
In February 2019, the couple officially split after reports circulated that Tristan had cheated on Khloe with Kardashian family friend and Kylie Jenner‘s former BFF, Jordyn Woods. Jordyn was practically excommunicated from the Kardashian clan and Khloe was left completely devastated. “[The PDA] happened and Khloe is very hurt and disappointed by the situation. She’s been through enough with Tristan — even before the baby was born. Khloe is the one sister that will turn so many blind eyes in hopes it will all work out, but she’s so done after this,” a source EXCLUSIVELY told HL in February 2019.
Tristan Shoots His Shot
After Khloe and Tristan broke up, the mother-of-one made baby True the center of her life. Khloe was absolutely devoted to her precious baby girl, and appeared to be living her best life as a successful single mom. But that didn’t stop Tristan from trying to get back into Khloe’s good graces. In fact, the basketball star took to Khloe’s Instagram page on multiple occasions to leave flirty comments on her posts.
In early October, Tristan commented on Khloe’s “fit” body, and continued to leave compliments on her IG posts for the weeks that followed. He even once commented with two red heart emojis and a crown on one post that was published in November. “Tristan has no plans on quitting leaving flirty emojis anytime soon on her Instagram posts and as long as he’s not blocked from Khloe’s social media, he’s going to keep on it,” a source EXCLUSIVELY told HL in early November 2019. “Tristan doesn’t mind that Khloe isn’t following him back, he knows he still has a lot of work to do before there would even be a chance of winning her back. But Tristan feels that she is worth every ounce of effort he’s putting in and isn’t one to back down from a challenge.”
As the Kardashian family celebrated the 2019 holidays, Tristan and Khloe reunited for Christmas and began actively co-parenting little True. As the months went on, fans got to see even more of how much Tristan and Khloe’s relationship improved. Although there was little sign that the two were romantically involved, Tristan never hesitated to prove to Khloe how much she and True meant to him — even offering up his home to them.
Back On Good Terms
After months of working on their relationship, Khloe and Tristan appear to be on great terms. Over the recent Christmas holiday, Khloe and True spent time with Tristan in Boston. Khloe even sported a giant diamond ring, leading many of her fans to believe that she and Tristan might be engaged — though the rumors were completely unfounded. Khloe and True did spend New Year’s Eve together back in Los Angeles, but it’s clear that the parents have come a long way over the course of their time together. “She has no plans of leaving LA for Boston full-time,” a source close to Khloe EXCLUSIVELY shared with HL, sharing some of Khloe’s future plans. “So they’ll continue to do the best they can,”
Remembering Gianna Bryant: 20 Photos Of Kobe & Vanessa’s Daughter 1 Year After Her Tragic Death
In honor of Gianna Bryant’s memory, we’re looking back at some of her sweetest moments with her sisters and parents.
Gone too soon. On this day in 2020, Gianna ‘Gigi’ Bryant and her father, the great Kobe Bean Bryant were two of nine passengers who tragically died in a helicopter crash in Southern California. One year after her death, we’re remembering Gianna, who would’ve turned 15 this year in May, with a look back at her life in photos.
Gianna is survived by her mother Vanessa Bryant and her three sisters — Natalia, 18, Bianka, 4, and little Capri, who will turn two in June. Family meant everything to Gianna, who must’ve gotten that from her father, whose good friend Derek Jeter said in a tribute after his death, that his most memorable conversations with the Lakers Legend were about his family.
Kobe always made it a point to include his daughters and wife in any major event. On February 26, 2018, Kobe, Vanessa, Natalia and Gianna attended the LA premiere of Disney’s A Wrinkle In Time. The foursome looked so excited in red carpet photos from the event.
Following the January 26 helicopter accident, which claimed the lives of some of Gianna’s basketball teammates, the entire world was rocked by the loss of such immense talent, inspiration, and potential. Gianna was a budding basketball player, who trained alongside her father and had dreams of attending UConn to play college ball. One of her biggest goals was to make it to the WNBA to play professionally. During the 2020 WNBA Draft, the league honored Gianna, Payton Chester, and Alyssa Altobelli, who also perished in the crash, with honorary draft picks.

“Thank you so much for honoring my Gigi and selecting her to be an honorary draft pick this year. It would’ve been a dream come true for her,” Vanessa, holding back tears, shared during the ESPN broadcast.
On the day after the helicopter crash, UConn memorialized Gianna by keeping an open seat on their bench covered white flowers and a special Huskies jersey with her signature No. 2 on the back. “Mambacita is forever a Husky,” UConn wrote on Twitter alongside a photo of Gianna’s decorated chair.
Gianna’s future was clearly so bright. Even her beloved, ‘Girl Dad’ father recognized her potential for greatness. “Fans will come up to me and she’ll be standing next to me and they’ll say, ‘Hey, you’ve gotta have a boy! You and V gotta have a boy to carry on your tradition, the legacy,’” Kobe once recounted to Jimmy Kimmel during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. But, it was Gianna who ardently told her father’s fans, “Oi, I got this.” Kobe couldn’t help but beam while recollecting the story, telling his daughter, “That’s right! You got it!”
There are so many more precious moments between Gianna and her family to look back on. To see more photos of Vanessa and Kobe’s beloved daughter with her family, check out the gallery above.
‘Euphoria’: Everything You Need To Know About The Special Episodes & Season 2
‘Euphoria’ premiered its second special episode on Jan. 24. This time around, Jules told her side of the story. The final moments of the episode hint at what’s to come in season 2. These are the latest updates about ‘Euphoria’ season 2.
Euphoria season 2 is on the way, so don’t you worry. HBO has already renewed the hit teen drama for a second season. It’s definitely happening, but the timing is still up in the air due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The first season premiered in 2019.
Despite the delay, Euphoria was able to treat fans with two special episodes. The first, featuring Zendaya and Colman Domingo, debuted Dec. 4. The second, starring Hunter Schafer, aired Jan. 24. HollywoodLife is breaking down both special episodes, what’s next, and the key updates about season 2.
The Second Special Episode
The second special episode — “F**k Anyone Who’s Not a Sea Blob” — aired Jan. 24 on HBO and started with Jules (Hunter Schafer) in therapy after running away. She admits that she was “drunk” and “reacting to sh*t” when she ran away. Out of the blue, Jules reveals that she thinks she may want to go off her hormones and confesses she feels “like a fraud.”
She opens up about Rue and says, “No one had ever looked at me the way Rue did.” She’s tried calling Rue but has gotten no answer. Jules breaks down in tears over what happened with Rue, but she’s also angry with Rue. Jules feels like Rue’s sobriety is totally dependent on how available she is to Rue. Jules fears that Rue will one day overdose and it will be her fault. She tells the therapist about her mother, who has struggled with drug addiction. She hasn’t wanted to tell Rue about her feelings towards her mother. Jules thinks Rue will believe she thinks that of her.
Jules also discusses the “Tyler” situation (a.k.a. Nate, played by Jacob Elordi). She knows she should have seen the signs. But Jules is self-aware enough to know that it’s the letdown she’s attracted to, the fantasy of it all. “I feel like I got to know him better than I knew Rue,” Jules tells her therapist. Jules says sexting with “Tyler” was “genuinely the best sex I’ve ever had.” During the episode, Jules fantasizes about having sex with “Tyler.” She admits, “I’m still in love with Tyler and I don’t know when that’s going to change.” Jules never mentions Nate by name, even though he is technically Tyler. There’s one point in the fantasy when Nate does come into the picture when Jules is having sex with “Tyler,” and he demands Jules not to look at him.
A reveal at the end of the episode gives new weight to Jules’ decision to run away. On the night of the Halloween party, Jules overhears her dad finding out that her mom’s been hospitalized after an overdose. Instead of sticking around, Jules just goes to the party.
The final moments of the episode hint at what’s to come in the second season: more Rue and Jules angst. Rue shows up at Jules’ place as she heads to go meet Ali. “I really missed you,” Jules tells Rue. A timid Rue admits that she’s missed Jules. Jules apologizes to Rue for leaving. Rue gets visibly emotional and blames it on the holidays. Before she can the wave of emotion crash down, Rue tells Jules “Merry Christmas” and runs out the door. Jules is left devastated and crying as the rain pours outside. Turns out, the second special takes place before the events of the first special. After going to see Jules, Rue gets high in the bathroom before sitting down to talk with Ali.
The First Special Episode
The first special episode — titled “Trouble Don’t Last Always” — dropped early on Dec. 4. The Christmas episode began with a dream where Rue and Jules were living happily together and had no problems to worry about. However, Rue found herself back in reality very quickly. She met up with Ali at a diner to discuss her relapse. Rue and Ali didn’t hold back with each other during their emotional conversation.
At one point, Ali even asked Rue if she wanted to get clean, and Rue said she didn’t. Ali stressed to Rue, “The longer you use drugs, the more you’re going to lose.” Ali opened up about his family and what he’s lost due to his addiction struggles. Rue confessed to Ali in the most devastating moment of their entire conversation, “I just don’t really plan on being here that long.” At the end of the episode, Ali drove Rue home.
Euphoria’s creator and writer, Sam Levinson, noted that Rue’s episode showed Rue’s “unreliability as a narrator” because she’s “not always accurate in her retelling of things.” The second episode will explore the “other side to the story,” which is Jules’ perspective. The second episode’s premiere date is Jan. 24.
Back in March 2020, Euphoria’s official social media accounts shared a photo from the first official season 2 table read. Filming was expected to begin, but the COVID-19 pandemic delayed most TV productions. Following the 2020 Emmys, HBO president Casey Bloys told our sister site Deadline that Euphoria will likely begin filming season 2 in “early 2021.”
With season 2 production not starting until early 2021, that means it will likely be late 2021 or early 2022 before Euphoria season 2 premieres on HBO. The wait is going to be a long one, but it will be worth it.
Zendaya, who won the 2020 Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, will return as Rue in season 2. Members of the ensemble cast expected to return include Maude Apatow, Angus Cloud, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira, Nika King, Storm Reid, Hunter Schafer, Algee Smith, and Sydney Sweeney.
When Euphoria’s social media account revealed a look at the season 2 table read, Zendaya and Angus were pictured together. In addition to Rue, fan-favorite Fezco will for sure be back in the second season.
Season 2 is expected to add some new faces to the mix. One actor that we know for sure is joining season 2 is Kelvin Harrison Jr., who notably starred in the critically-acclaimed film Waves. He revealed that he actually wanted to join the cast back in season 1.
“It was something that we had talked about for a while because I wanted to be on season 1 and things didn’t really go that way,” he told our sister site Variety. “Suddenly, all the stars aligned and I got to be there. We did our first couple table reads and they were amazing.”
The End Of Season 1
Season 1 ended on a heartbreaking note with Rue relapsing after Jules left on the train. Rue decided to back out of running away with Jules, who begged Rue to come with her. Meanwhile, Kat and Ethan finally admitted their feelings for each other and got together at the winter formal.
Cassie got an abortion after getting pregnant with McKay’s baby. Meanwhile, Maddy decided to steal a DVD from Nate’s room, and that DVD could potentially expose Nate’s dad. Remember, Nate’s dad has a personal porn collection that Nate discovered as a child. What’s on the DVD was never shown, but Maddy watched it and looked shocked at what she witnessed. At the school dance, Maddy and Nate broke up.
Don’t expect to see the Euphoria stars playing high school students for 5 seasons. “Well, [the characters] are in high school, so there are only so many seasons it can go,” Bloys told our sister site TVLine. “There’s a time limit.” He added: “There is no set plan. But I don’t think you want 30-year-olds playing [high school students].”
Rihanna Wants A$AP Rocky To Be Her ‘Final Boyfriend’: Their Romance Is ‘Amazing Right Now’
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are ‘very happy together’ and have ‘so much in common’, according to sources who spoke EXCLUSIVELY to HL.
It looks like things between Rihanna, 32, and her boyfriend A$AP Rocky, 32, are going great. The singer and rapper, who turned their longtime friendship into romance last year, celebrated Christmas together in her home base of Barbados before recently attending a dinner date in New York City, and it turns out their romance works due to a number of factors, including their compatibility and number of mutual friends.
“Rihanna and Rocky are so good. Their vacation together couldn’t have been better,” a source EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife. “The level of attention their relationship gets is intense, so they’ve been trying to play it pretty low key, but they’re still very happy together.”
Before their recent dinner, RiRi and Rocky attended YAMS Day, which was started by Rocky in honor of his late friend A$AP YAMS, who died at the age of 26 back in 2015. “Rihanna was with him this week on YAMS Day. That was Rocky’s best friend, but Rihanna knew him too,” the source explained. “She’s very much a part of Rocky’s inner circle. His friends are her friends, and her friends are his friends. It’s just one of the reasons this is such a great fit.”
